LIFE AS BUDDHIST PRACTITIONERS

An Excerpt from
Master Jun Hong Lu's
Public Talk in Madrid
May 13, 2016

Let me share with you a few pointers for life as Buddhist practitioners:

• Exercise, even if you are healthy

• Drink water, even if you are not thirsty

• Clear your thoughts, even if you are troubled

• Let others have the last word, even if you are right

• Be humble, even if you are powerful

• Rest, even if you are not tired

• Be content, even if you are not wealthy

• Life is short; live on, even if it seems bitter and tiring

• Life is impermanent; insist on learning the wisdom of Dharma, even if it seems unfathomable.
