Master Lu’s teaching – Ways of avoiding Marriage Breakdown
Firstly, if you quarrel, do not criticize your spouse’s parents, or scold someone who your spouse respects because this will hurt his/her feeling;
Second, do not start a cold war afterwards and ignore each other for several days because this will weaken the future relations between the two of you;
Third, do not talk about your family situation to your family’s friends. What you gossip will reach his/her ears later and make your relationship even worse.
I hope you understand how to resolve the negative karma and restore positive affinity between you and your spouse. You’re a Buddhist, and you need to recite the Mantra, “Chieh Chieh Chou” to untie Karmic Knots for your relationships. You know husband and wife come together due to affinity in your past life, and there are always karmic knots between husband and wife. Only by understanding the cause and effect, you can learn Buddhism better. Learning Buddhism is to change our life and destiny. Learning Buddhism is to learn from our heart.
