The Eighty-eight Buddhas Great Repentance Text (Li Fo Da Chan Hui Wen in Mandarin)

The Eighty-eight Buddhas Great Repentance Text (Li Fo Da Chan Hui Wen in Mandarin) is one of the greatest repentance sutras in Buddhism realm. By reciting this text, you are sincerely seeking the forgiveness from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for the wrong deeds you did in the past.  Some of its great powers include: repeating negative karmas created during the past and present lives; seeking forgiveness from someone you hurt in the past; resolving long-term conflicts and repenting inappropriate actions such as being disrespectful to Buddhas or Bodhisattvas, or damaging statues or images of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.
For Daily Recitation: Up to 7 times per day. It can be recited from early morning to 10 pm daily for a whole life.
Prayer: Before reciting this sutra, say your prayer or wish as following, “May the Great Merciful and
Great Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva protect and bless me, <your full name>, help me to repent and eliminate karmic obstacles due to negative karmas in <the body or parts of the body>, grant me good health and wisdom.”
Note: After reciting the Eighty-eight Buddhas Great Repentance, if you feel sore or discomfort in any part of your body, it means that the negative karmas have been activated and transformed into the foreign spirits. This is in fact not a bad thing. It's better to deal with the retribution right now than waiting for it be accumulated and activated in a form of calamity or illness later in your life. You can recite 4 or 7 Little Houses and address to the “Karmic Creditor of <your full name>”. If the pain is severe, recite more Little Houses until you feel better.
