【THINGS TO NOTE ON GUAN YIN BODHISATTVA’S ENLIGHTENMENT DAY】

It was extremely hard on Guan Yin Bodhisattva to come to earth to save all sentient beings. Next month, July 26, or the 19th day of the sixth month in the lunar calendar, is the Guan Yin Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment day. On that day, all Buddhist practitioners will celebrate and rejoice in togetherness. The heavenly world will also be immersed in joy and thus, many Bodhisattvas will descend to earth.
Therefore, on that blissful day, I hope every one of you will offer your prayers and ask for blessings in the morning, after showering and cleansing your body. It would be ideal if you could devote all your time to performing recitations, making vows incessantly and be a vegetarian.
On the joyous day, all the Dharma protectors and Bodhisattvas will be here on earth and every virtuous deed that you perform will be recorded in the book of merits by the Bodhisattvas. Hence, you should go above and beyond and perform more virtuous and meritorious deeds than what you have already been doing.
Many people are unaware that you feel a different sense of connection as the Dharma joy and supreme magnetic field are being passed to mankind through the great compassion of Guan Yin Bodhisattva.
