Reason and benefits of practicing Buddhism: 
A world of peace and harmony is possible. We must begin with ourselves.

Bodhisattva ideal is a central aspect of Mahayana Buddhist tradition and lays special emphasis on harmony and compassion.

Mahayana is Buddhism teachings available to laypersons from all walks of life to embark on the path of Bodhisattvas, who have become enlightened but unselfishly delay nirvana to help others attain it as well. It’s a deep wish for all sentient beings to be free from suffering. 

And learning Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is to study Mahayana Buddhism as well as traditional Chinese culture.
