BE DILIGENT IN PRACTICING BUDDHISM AND IN HELPING OTHERS

Wenda20141123A 00:42 [Master Jun Hong Lu’s call-in radio program]

Master Jun Hong Lu: “Please keep this in mind. In terms of practicing Buddhism, first and foremost, you must be diligent. What do we mean by “being diligent?”
On a daily basis, you must perform a self-contemplation to find out “Have I done anything wrong? Have I put in my best effort? Have I let Bodhisattva down?” Ponder over these every single day.

Secondly, you must be actively helping others. As only those who help others can become Bodhisattva; while those who don’t help the others are regarded as self-cultivators. Only by helping others can you truly help yourself. All of you are good children, as you are always helping other people. This forms your virtue in your journey of Buddhist practice and cultivation. I hope all of you will persevere and put in your best effort!”
