Question: When burning Little Houses with different receivers, is there a particular sequence to follow? Are we supposed to burn those addressed to our own karmic creditors first or should those addressed to the deceased come first?
Answer: Burn those that are addressed to the deceased first. As the deceased’s names are stated on the Little Houses, it is to allow them to get them first. Should you burn those addressed to your karmic creditors first, there is a risk of them being taken away by any related spirits because there are no names specified. This is the reason why you should burn the deceased’s ones first, let them get what they deserve then you can proceed with burning the ones addressed to your own karmic creditors.
