Caller: Master Lu, when we are being berated by the others, can we recite the Great Compassion Mantra silently in heart for protection?
Master Jun Hong Lu: Yes, why not? When he is scolding you, you may say the prayer: "Guan Yin Bodhisattva, what I have done is righteous. I have done nothing wrong. May Guan Yin Bodhisattva help and protect me from being harmed by him." Once you say the prayer, the other party will suffer instantly. You will bear no consequence for his sufferings as it is the responsibility of the Dharma Protectors; and the justice meted out by Dharma protectors is in accordance to the rule of dharma.
