‘IMPURE’ KINDNESS CAUSES OUR BLESSINGS TO GREATLY DISSIPATE

If our kindness is "impure", our blessings will greatly dissipate.  For example, when you are jealous of others and feel uneasy when seeing others leading a good life, these attitudes deplete your blessings.  Let’s quote another example. When you see someone waste food, or behave improperly, etc… and then afterwards you see this same person stricken down by serious illness. If you begin to think: ‘See! The forces of retribution are always listening!  People like this suffer the consequences of their own bad deeds!’ That’s it!  As you have no empathy or compassion for them, and instead take pleasure in another’s misfortune, your blessings will once again dissipate.
