Master Jun Hong Lu: Generally, this is not an issue as long as it does not involve creation of major karma. But if you are highly fascinated by it, it will result in formation of karmic consequence. If you neglect your recitation as you spend your entire day watching football matches, don't you think there will be karmic consequences? Especially when you have made a vow with regards to your recitation.
