台长答：可以的，因为在头这个地方拜，所以我们的拜垫不能坐的。有些地方，他们把拜垫放在那里，硬硬的板凳，前面用自己的臀部坐在人家磕头的地方，一会跑过去磕，你知道人的肚脐以下都是属于……我们说下三道的，肮脏的，你说能坐在上面吗？磕头的地方能坐吗？连跨都不能跨，怎么能坐着呢？怎么能用臀部坐在这个前面呢？所以跪拜的时候你可以把经文放在前面，因为前面是磕头的地方，明白了吗？（嗯，了解）

Caller: Are we allowed to place scriptures on the kneel cushion?

Master Jun Hong Lu: You may do so, as that is where our head touches the cushion during prostration. That is why kneel cushion is not to be sat on. There are some places where kneel cushion are placed on hard wooden bench. In some instances, some will sit on the spot where others perform prostration. Do you know that anything below the navel on a human body is considered as - what we called the three lower realms. It is considered filthy. Having said so, do you think you should sit on the kneel cushion? How can we place our buttock on the front part of the cushion? When you are doing prostration, you may place the scriptures on the front part, as the front part is where your forehead makes contact with. Do you understand?
