男听众：师父，您给一个胃不好的同修开示，让他专念往生咒去除肠胃上的业障，这是个案吗？还是哪里不舒服，针对哪里念往生咒呢？

师父答：这个虽然是个案，但是也有大家都能接受的地方。记住了，凡是肠胃不好，就是吃的方面出问题。很多人的肠胃不好就是因为吃活的海鲜吃得太多，往生咒是必然要念的。当你肠胃不好的时候，必须念往生咒（您说必须念往生咒，是祈求观世音菩萨专门超拔肠胃上的小灵性，还是泛泛地祈求呢？）泛泛地祈求，因为你单单念往生咒去不掉的，就是只能念小房子才能去掉

WHY STOMACH DISORDER CALLS FOR THE RECITATION OF AMITABHA PURE LAND REBIRTH MANTRA (WANG SHENG ZHOU)?

Caller: Master Lu, you advised one Buddhist friend who was suffering from stomach disorder to focus on the recitation of Amitabha Pure Land Rebirth Mantra (Wang Sheng Zhou) to eliminate the karmic obstacles of his digestive system. Is this considered as an isolated case? Or generally it is alright for us to target our recitation on whichever part of the body that is unwell?

Master Jun Hong Lu: Though this is an isolated case, it can also be applied to all. Please remember, all problems with regards to stomach disorder are related to a person’s diet. Many people who suffer from stomach disorder are due to overindulgence in live seafood. Hence, recitation of Wang Sheng Zhou is inevitable. When you have stomach disorder, you must recite this mantra.

Caller: You mentioned that recitation of Wang Sheng Zhou is a must. In this case, do we pray to Guan Yin Bodhisattva to particularly help us transcend merits to the minor spirits in the stomach? Or should we just make a general request?

Master Jun Hong Lu: Make a general request, should suffice. Anyway, just by reciting Wang Sheng Zhou may not be able to help you eliminate it. Only through recitation of Little House will do the job.
