THROW AWAY SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WE DO NOT NEED IN OUR LIVES AND WE MAY BE PRESENTED WITH WHAT WE TRULY NEED.

Master Jun Hong Lu’s
Public Talk, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
December 23, 2016

A teacher once asked his students, “What do we do if we want to boil some water but do not have enough firewood?” Some said they should go look for some firewood, others said that they should borrow some and there are also those who said they should go buy some.

The teacher responded, “How about we pour out some of the water so that we have less water to boil?” There is no perfection in this world. It is impossible for everything to turn out exactly as what one wishes. We gain one thing when we let go of another. Throw away some of the things that we do not need in our lives and we may be presented with what we truly need.

At times, things that truly matter in life such as love and hopes are right by your side and there is no need to travel thousands of miles to look for them.
