Question: I became Master Lu’s disciple in year 2014. It was my plan to hold a vegetarian wedding banquet. However, I have failed to get the consent from my family members to do so. I have changed all the dishes in the hotel's menu that is cooked with live creatures to frozen ingredients. However, I am still worried, as this is not a vegetarian wedding banquet, will it affect the status of my Lotus flower?
Answer: It will not directly cause your Lotus flower to "fall". However, it will deplete a great amount of your karmic rewards. The situation looks better now as no live creatures are consumed, hence no killing took place. Bear in mind, should there be any live creatures consumed, you shall expect big trouble.
