Caller: A Buddhist practitioner dreamt about hearing a voice telling him: “ A Buddhist practitioner known as XX has only 4% of karmic obstacles now.” In his dream, he thought to himself, this means the person would be able to transcend the cycle of rebirth, doesn’t it? Then another voice said: “This is the first Guan Yin Citta practitioner to achieve such a level.” This Buddhist practitioner thought: Many practitioners of Guan Yin Citta had already become Bodhisattvas but vow to be reborn and save more sentient beings” He pondered again and realized this is the first person practicing Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door to achieve such a level through self-cultivation. When he woke up, he was immersed in bliss. This is to say that one could transcend the cycle of rebirth in this lifetime by practicing Guan Yin Citta!
Master Lu: Oh, of course! Even for a bad person…there was an old saying “A butcher becomes a Buddha the moment he drops his cleaver”. When you put your heart and soul into practicing Buddhism and cultivating your mind, you will surely be able to transcend the cycle of rebirth. No matter how many wrongdoings you have committed previously, you could still change your life! As long as you wake up to the truth of life, you are awakened. You will still be dreaming if you don’t wake up to the truth. Only when you are awakened will you realize that you have succeeded (Yes, indeed).
