Master Jun Hong Lu: A lot of people study Buddhism during their lifetime. However, in the end some do not actually know what they are practising. They are putting on an act as a Buddhist practitioner to gain the respect of others, simply trying to fish for compliments. This is sheer self-deception. I hope that all of you genuinely, wholeheartedly, and diligently learn about Buddhism. Be very genuine. To achieve the desired state of consciousness, one must be genuine when it comes to studying Buddhism.
