Master Jun Hong Lu: Indeed, as soon as we apologize, we will gain the forgiveness of others.

Caller: I understand now. Take for example, if we make a mistake and receive your guidance. When we say “Master, I know my mistake now, I’m sorry,” you will immediately show leniency towards us.

Master Jun Hong Lu: Although this is true to a certain extent, it still depends on the severity of one’s karmic obstacles. In general, one who has relatively less severe karmic obstacles will be more readily pardoned compared to another whose karmic obstacles are weightier.
